World Cup Wonder
Category: Travel Portraits
Photo and caption by Sean Tilden
I captured this subtle silhouette of a local woman during the 2010 World Cup that was held in South Africa. It was the month of the vuvuzela, as everyone in sight had managed to get their hands on one and were not afraid to show some national pride. It was here in the rural villages that you could see (and hear) the raw excitement and spirit the people of South Africa were displaying for the world.
Location: Khula Village, Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa
