On Top of the Parrot's Peak
Category: Spontaneous Moments
Photo and caption by Jeremy Nielsen
This is the top of a rock formation on the Ilha Grande, Brazil. This peak is the highest point on the island and it rises about 1,000m over a very short hike of about 5km. The ledge that these guys are standing on sticks out of the rock, like a Parrot's beak and its about 800m straight down to the jungle floor from there.
Location: Ilha Grande, Brazil
