Photo and caption by Ruth McDowall
Woman cross the border from Niger, (village seen in the background) to Nigeria to recieve medical supplies and treatment. The photo was taken during the Harmattan season, when a strong wind off the Sahara blows dust accross the country, dropping the temperature and creating a layer of fine dust everywhere and over everything.
