We were traveling on boat along the Mekong river in Cambodia. We arrived at a small village near the town on Ban Lung. Our guide told us that the people who live here have Chinese origins. As we disembarked the boat, I noticed a girl playing with her sister near a small hut on the river bank and was captivated by the her smile. Their mother was standing next to us. When I asked if I could take a photo she shyly nodded for consent.
