Making Music In Dark Alleyways

Category: Travel Portraits

This photo was taken while on a brief visit to Denver, Colorado. I was walking along the pedestrian-friendly 16th Street Mall when I happened to pass by this surreal scene: a lone guitarist playing his electric guitar with a battery-powered amplifier in a dark alleyway. I wondered to myself what he was doing out there.. was he part of a band that was playing in one of the local bars and was outside on a break, or was he out there for some other reason?

Location: Denver, Colorado, USA
