An ever patient Great Blue Heron looks for a last meal of the day. Strolling the seawall in downtown Vancouver I spied this heron standing guard near shore. After snapping this shot, I sat down and marveled for awhile before heading off. Moments like this make me thankful to live in a place where beauty might be just be around the corner.
