This weekend vintner shows off his harvest of Sciaccatra grapes from terraced vineyards cascading to the Ligurian Sea. City-dwelling Italians rent small plots of land where they cultivate grapes to enjoy the centuries-old tradition of winemaking. On the weekend, they come with hand-made vimini (wicker) baskets to collect the grapes, which this vintner crushes by hand.
