Hummock Valley at Night
Category: Sense of Place
Photo and caption by Pierre Johne
It was a hard day of cycling on a 80km long gravel road on the South Island of New Zealand. After setting up the tent I choose to capture the mystical Hidden Burn River Valley about one hour after moonrise. The full moon was pretty bright which gave the feeling it would be at daytime. I love the feeling of being sinking in the photograph.
Location: Mavora, New Zealand
