Stained Glass Reflection
Category: Sense of Place
Photo and caption by Mark Nelson
St. Philomena Church in Chicago has beautiful and modern stained-glass windows. We visited as part of an architectural tour in the late afternoon, just as the sun was coming through the windows. It was so bright and the colors of the window were so vivid that that they reflected off the the limestone so as to recreate the image of the window on the stone.
