I saw the colors in the trees changing while on a bus ride through the city. Since I couldn't stop at the time, I came back two days later, riding for over an hour on my bicycle from the next city over. I spent the entire holiday riding around trying to find one particular place, and found many other scenic spots along the way. This is one of my favorite, a Buddhist temple in the heart of Ashikaga city. The trees demonstrated red, orange, green, yellow and even purple flowers in the sun and the shade of the early afternoon.
