Life Grows Through the Bullet Holes

In the Northern part of Israel in the Golan Heights, blown out bunkers and bomb shelters sprinkled with bullet holes cover much of the wild landscape. Through the years life has been restored and plants have begun to sprout in the area. Human strife continues but nature cares not and flourishes even here.
