A Long Life

Photo and caption by Kristian Pletten

While on my bike trip across Africa I found this old gentleman sitting on a bench in the shade of a big tree talking to his sons and grandsons. I asked him kindly in arabic if I could take his picture, and he smiled and said yes. I took two shots, this is the second one. After I showed the photo they invited me for tea and biscuits. I sat there for a period of time chatting in poor arabic/partly english before I was served the tea. I must say, that was the best tea I've ever had!

Location: Luxor, Egypt
