The Long Walk

Category: Travel Portraits

Photo and caption by Kristian Pletten

Farmers in Ethiopia often have to walk long distances to sell their products on the markets. When they day is over and the sun sets they return to their homes. This night I camped right next to the road and could see the farmers stroll by as pitch black silhouettes against a red and orange backdrop.

Location: North of Bahir Dar, Ethiopia
