I was completing a Field Research and Conservation course for my high school at the beginning of June in Grand Tetons National Park. We took a day trip up to Yellowstone and we spotted these massive bison while at Grand Prismatic Springs. I tried to take a picture with my camera but it had run out of battery so I used my phone camera to capture this shot. When I took the photo I was only ten feet away.
