We were in Paris, near Notre Dame. My camera was 3 days old & I was excited as a kid! My eye was glued to my viewfinder and my index finger, firing away incessantly: birds, road, water on the road, people eating, whatever was in shape was being shot. Then I saw this drunken “couple”, asleep or inebriated, couldn’t really tell with the bottle of cheap whiskey perfectly posed at the side. I knew I had one shot, at a risk of offending my impromptu subjects. I rolled the settings took coupla seconds to get a good angle and clicked.
