During our 4-week trekking tour through the northwestern Nepali Himalaya, we encountered tons of children who had very little to nothing to play with. Fortunately, my friend had the brilliant idea to give out balloons and the kids loved it! Who knew that something as simple as a balloon could bring so much joy and entertainment! This is one of the little ones trying to blow up a balloon.
