Ducklings lounging in the patio
Category: Sense of Place
Photo and caption by sanjeev sinha
These ducklings show up every day at my patio and actually make movements against the door asking for food. After eating they normally head out to the lake beyond the patio. This was different. After having had the drink they came right back and decided upon an afternoon siesta. The way they were sleeping was something I had never seen before and could not let it pass. I took the picture with the camera lens wedged between the blinds and through the window which is why the slight blur to ensure they were not disturbed. Taken on 7/8/2011 with the Nikon D3100 55-300mm lens 1/40 f4.5.
