Swan Symphony
Category: Sense of Place
Photo and caption by Emer O Shea
A group of swans at low tide along the Erne Estuary - a scene reminiscent of those painted by Yeats in his poetry - when he extolled the beauty of swans . The back drop is Ben Bulben - frequently featuring in his poetry on landscapes of the Northwest of Ireland.I think it aptly captures a "sense of place"
Location: Erne Estuary , Ballyshannon.Co. Donegal, Ireland
