I was watching this cattle egret in one of my trips to Washington DC National Zoo. The egret seemed was trying without any success to catch attention of the beautiful scarlet ibis, which didn’t want even to look at the young handsome egret. I thought photographing them, that these birds are like us, humans. We often don’t know how to communicate with a person we like.
