The hindu religion believes that all the living beings are composed of 5 elements or 'Panchatatva' - Air, water, earth, fire & sky.The photo depicts all 5 elements. Several people come to this holy River Ganga each day, and after making a wish or thanking god for fulfilling their wish, they let this beautiful handmade lamp afloat with the faith that 'Ganga' will connect them to the almighty.Lamp depicts fire, the leaf that holds the lamp depicts earth, holy Ganges is the water element, 4th element-the wind(air) supports fire and the all encompassing sky witnessing the prayer, is element 5
