Canals of Venice
Category: Sense of Place
Photo and caption by Barbi Gibbons
This photo was taken in the early morning on the quiet canals of Venice, Italy. Within an hour the canals were a buzz of activity with gondolas and boats competing for space. Around every corner were rich, warm, earthy colours and a feeling of lively family life intermingled with tourists enchanted by the uniqueness of this city surrounded by water. Photo taken with a Rebel T1i with EF 17-40mm F/4L USM lens F5 at 1/60th second.
Location: Venice, Italy
