Majestic solitude
Category: Sense of Place

After reaching Machu Piccu at the crack of dawn hoping to catch the sun rise over the mountains, we were surprised with something much better - solitude. It was cloudy, raining and cold and there were few other people around other than us. In complete silence, we were able to meditate on the cliff overlooking this amazing place for almost an hour undisturbed. Only then could we appreciate how truly magical it was.
