After turning onto an almost deserted country road in Indiana, I spotted a baby deer trotting across the road. Immediately I stopped not wanting to pass up the opportunity. The fawn was startled & bolted into some tall grass on the side of the road, however when I moved closer to get the picture it stayed absolutely still. Unfortunately, it only stayed put for one picture & I didn't have enough time to get one with more of the baby's face showing.
