Water, Land and Mankind
Category: Sense of Place
Photo and caption by Alexandra Lievano
This photo was taken during our trip to Burma. We were driving at dawn to the U Bein Bridge, as I was looking through the window I saw this hard working man I asked the car to stop, they did and I took my picture. I love the smooth light and all the elements in it, the birds, the cow, the water, the land, and the worker. For me it was like going back in time, when people had to depend on animal for working the land, and the light gives it a special dream like mood.
Location: Mandalay Region, Amarapura, Burma
