Flight 93 National Memorial
Category: Sense of Place
Photo and caption by Kelbi Ervin
An American citizen stands before the construction for the National Memorial of the crash site of United Flight 93, while literally wearing an American flag. This September will mark the tenth year since the 9/11 terrorist attacks on the United States of America. We will always remember those heroes who bravely gave their lives on United Flight 93. "The flag still stands for freedom, and they will never take that away"
Location: Shanksville, Pennslyvania
