We visited a village in eastern Namibia to discuss the potential of conducting an ecohydrology research study on their land. After a village meeting in the sand under the designated community acacia tree, a boy and his family invited us to try some 'omaere' (curdled goat milk). He silently watched us finish off their gift, peeking out occasionally from behind the brightly painted concrete wall.
Location: Village near Gobabis, Namibia
