My patience paid off when I spent some time observing this Anhinga fishing. I’m pretty good at reading their body language so I was prepared for the Anhinga to catch a fish. I was thrilled to capture this moment as the Anhinga showcased his unique technique of flipping the fish upward so it would be able to slide straight into its throat.
