The Indo Starfish Children
Category: Travel Portraits
Photo and caption by Martin Brown
June 2011 I was lucky enough to accompany the high school students I teach to Cambodia where they completed four days of voluntary work where they helped support and teach in the Indo Starfish Foundation school in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. These children are the lucky ones, in so far as they get to attend school! We also saw where they live and how their families survive, next to a landfill collecting trash to recycle and make $1 a day.
Location: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
