I took this picture of the limestone peaks outside of Yangshuo, China while returning from a bicycle tour of the countryside. My girlfriend had gotten sick, so I ventured out alone. I got lost on the return (taking a different route than my original) and spent hours pedalling around the area trying to find my way. As dusk settled, I found the river Yulong to lead me back to Yangshuo and came across this serene scene. I quickly snapped the photo and finally made it back to my girlfriend with a bit of luck and the help of a wonderful local.
