This photograph is a product of patience, anticipation and great timing. Choosing to shoot in front of White Dome Geyser was an obvious move judging the Coyote's direction. It was negetive 10 degrees and waiting there in the cold hoping all the elements would come together was a gamble. But as the Geyser began a large eruption the Coyote appeard right where we wanted him to be.
