Sunrise Clouds
Category: Sense of Place
Photo and caption by Bill Perry
Taken at the beginning of sunrise in late January 2011 from Dante's View in Death Valley facing east, this photo captures the surreal effect of the morning sun lighting up two clouds that appeared out of nowhere. After a few minutes these clouds disappeared leaving only my photos as a way to remember them. Seeing them in person made me realize what a beautiful and inspiring planet we have.
Location: Dante's View, Death Valley, California, USA
