After descending Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, we were only beginning our journey. We set forth on foot, from the base of Kilimanjaro crossing from Tanzania into Kenya, across Maasai land, through Tsavo East and West and on to the Indian Ocean. This photograph was taken the first day of walking after we had descended Kilimanjaro in the first village we walked through.
