Anno 1839
Category: Sense of Place

This abandoned house sat on a large property outside the quaint town of Killarney in southwestern Ireland. White painted letters above the doorway read "Anno 1839," and it seemed that the house had long been at the surrender of over-grown grasses and vines. I was drawn to the haunting, yet beautiful mysteriousness of the house that I like to think would have had quite a story to tell.
