I was walking through the Old Quarter of Hanoi-an intriguing area in and of itself as a Vietnamese landmark-when I came upon this father resting a moment, his baby in the crook of his arm. In densely populated Hanoi, which never ceases moving, it is not uncommon to see entire families riding on single scooters. I was continually struck by the ability of the people of this city to find moments of peace, such as this one, inside the maelstrom of their daily existence.
