- "Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower." Albert Camus I was running a bit late and was stuffing my bag into my car when I felt a chill run down my back. The air was crisp, and stung my lungs as I breathed it in. I glanced at the rising sun and could see the frost biting at the grass. Long golden rays danced across the yard, and hardly a bird chirped from the Pin oak. Autumn had arrived at my door and only now did I notice.

- After hearing about the glowing red appearance of Mesa Arch at sunrise, we arrived in the dark and set up to catch it. The sunrise was beautiful, and we kept shooting until the sun had reached the top of the arch. It wasn't until I opened them later that I realized that one of those final pictures had an amazing sunburst that produced an orange glow in the distance. It is a panorama of four stitched 50 megapixel shots.

- Visit Siming Mountain this Apr, just beside Fenghua Xikou - the formal chairman of KMT - Chiang Kai-shek's hometown. Besides the bank of the Shen lake, there is a line of trees just live in the water, the sun just rising, paint a warm color to the reflection of the trees in the water

- We hiked up Table Top Mountain and when we stopped for a much needed breather we were awarded this view from a small cliff. Timing could not have been more perfect as it finally stopped raining and the sun came out (this was during the rains and flooding of Toowoomba). Made the hike absolutely worth it!
