- This little baby snake of about 6 inches long curled up in one of my garden tulips!! i found this lil guy while building my rock wall. I thought it would be pretty neat to shoot him among my newly bloomed flowers .. i tried a few different approaches before capturing this picture .. when i thought to put him into one of my tulips ... he wrapped himself perfectly around the piston of the flower , after 5 minutes of his time taken out of his very busy schedule he slithered out of the flower into the cool green grass...and the rest is history!! :)

- This was a stitched panorama of Western Plateau, Mount Kinabalu, Kinabalu National Park, Sabah, Malaysia, on late morning of 9th March 2010, during my third climbing trip to this World Heritage Site of Borneo. The peaks at the background were Ugly Sisters peaks and Tunku Abdul Rahman Peak. I enjoyed hiking at this summit because of the deep blue sky and unique scenes of huge bare granite platform with little bonsai like plants. This panorama view was stitched from seven photographs taken by UWA lens (12mm).

- I went with my kids to the beach on a winter's day, and we stood on this rocky outcrop, me enjoying the photography, and the kids enjoying the waves wetting their feet. Well, until a few seconds after I took this shot, when a huge wave totally drenched us and we fled back to the car to get warm and dry. The fisherman didn't seem to mind...

- During a trip to the North Face of Mt. Everest, I felt inclined to shoot it on the vertical. The rocks and frozen river provided fantastic foreground so I decided to break from tradition a bit. This was at about 7:45 pm, just before sunset. The wide angle lens makes Everest look so small!

- The waterfalls of Iceland are truly amazing. I only had 1 afternoon off during a work layover in Keflavik. I jumped in my rental car and drove 200km to visit two popular falls along the Southern coast. My favorite was Skogafoss. I was lucky enough to grab this shot as the sun was setting and illuminated the clouds above the falls.
