- Another great and unique experience of my tryp to Myanmar was to contemplate the fishermen working at the dawn at lake Inle. The man in this picture is on the thipical pusture they use to fish.

- This shot was taken on a train ride when the train stoped over the galta bridge. The bridge that split Istanbul city from the westren more liberal part to the more traditional part. Now days when all the muslim world is rocking I think this photo is more relevant then ever.

- Walking along the Midway Geyser Basin Loop, my breath was taken away by the majesty of the sites of the hot springs. As I turned the corner and approached the Grand Prismatic Spring to my right, a vast pool of aqua and rainbow beauty, the third largest hot spring in the world and felt the massive wave of steam on my face, I had to stop and take it in as I felt for a moment that I was in a different time and place. The beauty was breathtaking, as was the scene before me that I tried to capture here. Two people, seemingly alone, enjoying such a wonder that we can only begin to understand.

- There is unique group of people - far north siberians, for whom our severe cold is not a cold at all! Kids who has never seen other places are sure this is the only life on Earth. Brave people!

- Magical Lanterns in Chiang Mai
- field_caption
- While in Chiang Mai Thailand during the Loi Kratong holiday we went to the Lanna Meditation Center for a magical event. As part of a Buddhist ceremony thousands of candle lit lanterns are launched into the sky at once by participants as fireworks are launched into the sky. Truly one of the most amazing things I have ever experienced.

- El Arco reflected in water on the cobbled streets of Antigua, Guatemala. The old colonial city of Antigua is a World Heritage Site and thus protected from development which has preserved its unique architecture as well as its cobblestone streets. El Arco is one of the most famous landmarks in the city. I was able to capture this reflection after a brief shower during the rainy season.

- Abandoned Retreat

- Along an off shoot of the Ventura River Trail, in Ventura, Calif., stood this abandoned retreat....a secluded getaway fit for a king - a drifter king that is. Shaded enough to shield you from the hot sun, yet open enough to receive rays of scattered light and a cool breeze; this spacious forested shack looked appealing even to me after a long bike ride. Scenes like this remind me that home is merely where you lay your head. Just weeks after this photograph was taken, the building was demolished; the car seat and mattress were left behind to soak up the coming rains.
