- Throughout the millennia Japan has had more than its share of tragedies and despite knowing that a major earthquake could hit at any time, triggering massive secondary disasters, the people still manage a distinct sense of style while working together to keep the trains running on time.

- This time made it to the top of the Eiffel Tower with my inseparable Panasonic Lumix. Held back from vertigo with arms quite straight and made several blind clicks for a cenital view.

- Every morning just before the sunrise I would grab my camera and wonder the streets in order to capture everyday live. While visiting Calcutta earlier this year I came across this rickshaw puller on his way to work, which is not looked in favour by local authorities but remains one of the favourite forms of transportation in Calcutta, and most likely one of few able to move around the city's old lanes, particularly during the monsoon season.

- In this photo I attempted to capture the sense of place of Antigua as seen thorough the eyes of an unknown painter as he is sketching a street scape of Antiqua, the Arco de Santa Catalina and the volcano "Volcan de Agua" whose many eruptions has defined this beautiful historic city.

- This photo is of a small Nepali child amusing himself where he lives amongst the brickyards in Bahktapur, Nepal. His parents work 10-12 hour days in the brick yard kilns while loading cargo trucks that come everyday to supply Kathmandu’s demand for bricks due to it’s continuous economic growth and population. I chose this photo because it gives the viewer a sense on just how large this place is, and even for a small boy that is continuously surrounded by these bricks on a daily basis.

- It's an easy place to miss if you don't have a little help. The state hgihway bypassed Higginsville, Missouri, a village of 5,000 in Lafayette County. Years ago, the village boosters placed giant pointing hands on the highway to be sure you can find it.
