- When I reached Venice for a holiday on the 10th of April, 2011, this was the first picture I captured. First its the reflection of the mirror itself from a window beside it and then there's a reflection of a passenger ferry dropping off tourist within the mirror. Also seen in the backdrop of this image is the Bridge of Scalzi. The design was inspired by the first bridge in Venice called the Rialto. Weather was fantastic on the day I arrived. Venice also known as 'The Floating City' is a place everyone must visit in their lifetime to truly experience its unique beauty.

- I'm a student at Loyola University Chicago studying abroad in Saigon, Vietnam for four months. While on a 10-day trip to the northern and central regions of Vietnam, we stopped in the old city of Hue for two days. While touring the Forbidden City in Hue, I passed by Vietnam's tallest flagpole and noticed a street walking women carrying fresh bananas. With Vietnam's bold red and yellow flag flying over head, I waited for the right moment and snapped this picture. Shot with a DSLR Canon Rebel XT

- In a region of almost inaccessible sandstone peaks, monks settled on these 'columns of the sky' from the 11th century onwards. Twenty-four of these monasteries were built, despite incredible difficulties, at the time of the great revival of the eremetic ideal in the 15th century. I shot this picture at 02:00 in the morning during my 3-day travel at Meteora. It shows the Holy Monastery of "Rousanou" that was founded in the middle of 16th century AD and decorated in 1560.

- To most people the name Rjukan is synonymous with ww2 and the daring sabotage action, by the norwegian resistance movement, against the german heavy water factory, and the motion picture "The Heroes of Telemark" (Kirk Douglas, Richard Harris). But Rjukan is also known to be the site of a short story by Jules Verne called "The Lottery Ticket" (Ticket No. "9672") in which the Rjukan Falls have a particularly dramatic role to play. After a long period of heavy rain the waterfall was thunderous. Standing there on the edge of the cliff I felt really tiny.

- The Colosseum in Rome, Italy is one of the most impressive architectures I've seen. It is such a majestic piece of structure. Rome was celebrating cultural week during my visit so it was free entry to a few tourist attractions. I was at the Colosseum in the morning of April 16th, 2011 and just before I got in line to get inside the Colosseum, I noticed the sun shining straight through parts of the stunning piece of Roman architecture. So I thought why not add some flare from the sun. I wanted details of the Colosseum so I took this shot at f/29. I leave Rome with a piece of its history.

- was sitting in a narghile bar on the forth floor on the Besiktas seaside in Istanbul. I was so drained and exhausted that I was about to fall asleep with my face on the table when I noticed the amazing image being shown trough the glass of turkish Tea ( çay ) and I was so impressed and inspired that I couldn't help but to capture the essence of Istanbul through my lens.
