- While I was walking through the bird street (market) in Hong Kong. I was amused by these clever little sparrows, trying to steal bird seeds from the feeder in the cages. Honestly, I found them more interesting than those caged birds.

- In Hama, Syria, these Byzantine relics moan like an old man at all hours of the day. The water-wheels, or noria, have been in constant use on the Orontes river since the 12th century. Though now merely an aesthetic addition to the city, it is a duty they perform to its full extent, and they are a wonder to behold - with eyes and ears.
