- "The life of a monk is not easy" told me this eight years old young monk in a small monastery in the town of Luang Parabang in Laos. "We get up in 4 AM and going to sleep again only at 22:00 AM. Lots of cleaning and praying. but I still love it so much." Then the young monk offerd me to join him and his friends for the all day. It was one of the best days of my life.

- I love Spokane, one of the hidden gems of the Northwest. I'm always excited to be traveling through this city and it lends itself so well to photography. I spent the entire day taking pictures and settled in to eat dinner at a local restaurant. I was shocked when I left the restaurant to see the entire city enveloped in fog. I loved the way the lights shone through the fog and silhouetted the people as they walked. I grabbed my camera and took a few quick shots. This was my favorite, I love the lady walking alone and the way the stairs frame her.

- On my third visit to Paris, I was finally able to ascend the stairs to the lookout which had been closed for construction on previous visits. Despite it being a gray day, it was clear with a terrific view of Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur.

- The Round Tower is a 17th century tower built under the authority of Christian IV in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It was built as an astronomical observatory and this image shows its well know 7.5 degree helical corridor which leads to the top and an expansive view of Copenhagen.

- On a rainy evening in Tokyo, I was seeking shelter at a cafe with my friend, when all of a sudden a rare Tokyo taxi got trapped by a sea of urbanites and their colourful umbrellas at the busy Shinjuku crossing.
