- It was NYC's last blizzard in 2011. I was trying to capture the morning peak hour traffic during the blizzard as I walked cross 7th Ave and towards Time Square. I could barely open my eyes with the snow blowing onto my face, and I took the shot as I almost slipped over in the middle of the street.

- While visiting an orphanage in Swaziland in September 2010, my husband began photographing the beautiful schoolchildren. They huddled tightly around him to see the results, their faces on his camera. When I saw the opportunity to photograph the many childrens' heads contrasted with the one "follicly impaired" head, I knew I had a fun shot. The children were amused by this one as well!

- Horse kicking on the shores of Assateague Islands in Maryland. These magnificent creatures usually take a morning walk on the beach. It was peak summer time and hot like crazy. I managed to reach to the shores at 5:30AM unfortunately without a mosquito repellent (Unaware of the fact that the island was full of mosquitoes). I was scratching my hands and fews for almost a week after that, but everything had paid off at the end. I had photographed a wonderful spontaneous moment in nature!
