- I chanced upon this lady waiting for her groom to get dressed so they could commute together to church. As she was waiting inside the jeepney (a common transportation here in Manila), I asked her if she'd be willing to have her picture taken. She said yes and asked her daughters to join her in this "street pre-nup" as well.

- Lord Shiva is very much adored by the great majority of the Hindu people. Varanasi is said to be the city of Shiva and because it's one of the most sacred cities in India, thousands of pilgrims come to to this place every day. This photo shows a Hindu family using the painted wall with Lord Shiva as a background for a family picture.

- A thick fog over takes the city of Calgary, Alberta, Canada this particular morning making driving in it difficult. As I drove away from it, the fog suddenly disappeared. What I noticed then was this enormous wall of fog moving quite fast along the farm field. Only having a few moments to capture this scene before it was gone, I grabbed my camera with a 4 stop ND filter on the lens and took this shot.

- "ManhattanSunset" happens twice a year and is known as one of the most spectacular urban views in New York. Travelers/photographers gather together, waiting several hours for this exciting moment. I was part of the event this May but unfortunately I arrived late that day. There were already many people waiting there and I had to find a spot behind the crowd. I was not able to see it myself but was happy to have grabbed the moment when everyone lifted their cameras focusing on their long-expected view. Indeed I was at the back of the crowd. But in another sense, I was in front of all of them.
