- I took this picture when I was on a business trip in Chicago. Late at night, after an event, I passed the Crown Fountain in the Millennium Park. During the day it is usually crowded, full of children playing in the water. Now there was almost no one. Suddenly, a woman came out of nowhere and started dancing in the water. It appeared I only had one shot left, luckily I managed to capture her. A true spontaneous moment. I like this picture because it is mysterious, colorful and a bit arty.

- I was going through one narrow street of Kolkata, India and by chance looked up through my lens. It was a burst of pigeons flying over the old buildings of Kolkata giving it a surreal feel.

- Elephant dust bath. Ithumba in Tsavo East National Park is the next phase of the elephant’s long road to rehabilitation at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. The trust rescues and rehabilitates orphaned elephants in Kenya. Once the elephants are old enough, they are transported from a nursery in Nairobi to a remote area in the bush. Here it can take up to 10 years before they are fully ready to leave the keepers and join a wild or ex orphan herd.

- Kabul: Buy My Nuts!

- It was a hilarious episode. As I was walking through a large market in Kabul, Afghanistan, few vendors of nuts noticed my camera and shouted that I should be some. One of them grabbed his kid and tried to playfully force him to eat them, saying "Look, how happy he is, these nuts are very tasty".

- This woman was in the same place all day every day begging with her fake leg, when I got down to take the picture it was ironic to see that the entire background was everything she didn't have.... legs

- Wedding Love Dove.
- field_caption
- A tradition in Austria is that the recently married couple is given, as a present, three doves that symbolize Friendship, Loyalty and Love. They free the birds in a brief gathering right after the religious ceremony, one by one as a symbol of their new life together. The doves fly down the green hills of Salzburg, where this wedding took place, and back to their owner.
