  I grew up in a "well" seted up westernized society. As a kid I had in mind all these images of poor hungry, dying children in Africa. I was sure that those images weren't a lie but also they weren't completely true! In 2010 I decided to visit two of the most well known pure countries in Africa (Uganda-Rwanda) and see throw my own lens, my very own truth. I stayed in Uganda for 2 months and I discovered a whole other world. A world of poor, but mostly happy people! People who truly need the necessities and they just go out and enjoy simple life!

  I spotted this Buddhist monk reading a football (soccer) magazine at the Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda in Yangon. Many Burmese men and boys, sent by their families, spend part of their lives as a monk. We often forget that beneath the venerated exterior and saffron robes lies a normal person just like us.
