- 3 Ladies And A Bride
- field_caption
- Walking the streets of Havana we noticed a few old ladies just sitting there and I suggested for the bride to go and sit beside them. As soon as she sat down, the lady in red put her leg over. I got this shot, but many ended up a bit blurry from the camera shake due to my laugh.

- I was very privileged to visit the cultural festival called Theyyam which happens only on the northern district Kannur of Kerala, India. Devotee turns himself into a manifestation of GOD and carries that aura around for hours. It's a very unique Hindu tradition that's been carried on for centuries.

- Village Elder, Afghanistan

- This photo was taken at one of the villages in Northern Afghanistan in November of 2009. This is a village elder. Village elders govern their towns like our city mayors and if anyone has a problem, they go directly to them. They are very respected in their areas. I asked if I can take a photo and he was very happy about it.

- A child from a Himba Village stands silent. He was the most charismatic child in the village, laughing and singing throughout our visit. I was able to capture his moment of contemplation. Visiting the village was one of the most amazing experiences of my life- to see one of the few remaining primitive tribes left in the world. After our visit, I was overcome with disgust when I learned that the camping site we stayed at essentially helps in exploiting these people as approx. 4,000 tourists are shuttled through putting the Himba on display. This bittersweet moment is one I will never forgot.
