- I think that real travelers are homeless people. They are always find new place. I met two people under bay bridge in San Francisco. Tom and Sandra; even though they don't have money, house, and food, they are looked happy. And they said "we can move in & out without any contract" After 2 weeks later, they left their place. Tom and Sandra taught to me about traveler.

- May 2011. I was traveling in Argentina. I sat on top of a small hill, enjoying a balmy, sunny, autumn weather. I was watching this man fishing in the rough waters of the South Atlantic. He was oblivious to the crashing waves and the rising tide. Suddenly, a roaring wall of water towered over him. It was scary, even from the distance I was perched, snapping photos with my Canon. He did not flinch. He continued fishing until the sun set. A real veteran of the Atlantic waters.

- The Suri are an ethnic minority tribe that live in South West Ethiopia. Their homeland is remote, located in desolate mountains, without easy access or modern communications. To beautify themselves, the young girls use face paint to create interesting patterns. At they get older, this paint is replaced with body scarring and lip plates.

- Bricks is one of the largest industries in Bangladesh since the country lies in a flood plain rich with soil ideal for brick making. During 5 months a year, entire families are employed at the brickworks and children are expected to help carry the two-kilogram bricks. Children do not go to school and they face a future with little opportunity. There is no focus on safety, so the most exposed workers suffer from respiratory problems, arthritis, and other diseases. Employees work 12 hours a day for a daily wage of 120 taka (USD 1.70) for men.

- I captured this photo while staying at a small fire base in the province of Bamyan in Afghanistan. It was a small New Zealand fire base and they named the hill form which the photo was taken PT Hill. While making the long and strenuous walk up the hill my friend and myself were accompanied by this young Afghan boy amongst others who were very eager to learn anything form the soldiers who made their way up PT Hill.
