  Walking along the Midway Geyser Basin Loop, my breath was taken away by the majesty of the sites of the hot springs. As I turned the corner and approached the Grand Prismatic Spring to my right, a vast pool of aqua and rainbow beauty, the third largest hot spring in the world and felt the massive wave of steam on my face, I had to stop and take it in as I felt for a moment that I was in a different time and place. The beauty was breathtaking, as was the scene before me that I tried to capture here. Two people, seemingly alone, enjoying such a wonder that we can only begin to understand.

  El Arco reflected in water on the cobbled streets of Antigua, Guatemala. The old colonial city of Antigua is a World Heritage Site and thus protected from development which has preserved its unique architecture as well as its cobblestone streets. El Arco is one of the most famous landmarks in the city. I was able to capture this reflection after a brief shower during the rainy season.
